International College of Yayasan Melaka (ICYM) was formed with the belief and understanding that higher education is vital to the progress of the nation. The institution received an auspicious start in 1997 when it was officially opened by the then Minister of Education, Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, (who is today the Prime Minister of Malaysia).

ICYM provides quality education & training to global citizens so as to enhance their competitiveness in a global market place.

The institution also provide global education for students to explore the frontiers of knowledge, master new technologies and harvest the abundant wealth of diverse cultures and new industries. International College of Yayasan Melaka (ICYM) is located in the historical city of Malaysia, Melaka. Melaka is a city with a glorious past hidden behind each facade of the centuries-old buildings.

Melaka is abuzz with its year-long calendar of events comprising cultural and recreational activities that will entertain visitors, both young and old. Comprised of a multi-ethnic mix of Malays, Chinese, Indians, Eurasians and others and in recent years foreigners from all over the world have made Malaysia especially Melaka their second home, either for retirement, to seek employment or the pursuit their studies.

Melaka has an efficient public transportation system supported with modern infrastructure.
