Established in 1958, Gateshead College is a further education college.  Gateshead College is conveniently located in Gateshead quayside, minutes from Newcastle City Centre and its attractions.  Gateshead College boasts six campuses offering outstanding accommodation facilities in key locations across the North East, Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland.

Gateshead College offers great courses ranging from Engineering, Computing, Travel and Tourism, Hair Dressing amongst other great opportunities to pursue higher education.  Gateshead College also provides the option of studying part time as well as full time, giving student’s the option to choose between either according to preference.

Offering further education to 16-18 year olds, higher education, apprenticeships, part-time adult learning and training for employers, Gateshead College offers numerous great opportunities. With a range of facilities that include a Baltic Salon and Spa, Gym and aerobics studio, 200 seat performance theatre, Learning Resource Centre, Sound proofed music rehearsal and recording studios, students are granted great prospects at Gateshead College.

• Career Counseling -  Gateshead College offers these services through one to one appointments, small group sessions, talks and presentations.
• Baltic Salon and Spa – The salon provides their expertise in the fields of manicures, waxing, tanning, facials and massage, Baltic Salon and Spa also offers other services  including flotation treatments, full-body wraps and a range of pamper packages. 
• Baltic Gym – Equipped with the latest aerobic and toning gear, the gym has the necessary equipment to tone your body to perfection. The gym is open to staff, students and the general public.
• Auto Skills Centre – Gateshead College has invesed over £400,000 into the brand new AutoSkills Centre to ensure the facilities are of an exceptionally high standard, to meet the needs of the automotive industry.
• Academy of Sport - The facility is home to the College's sports students and prestigious sports academies who train alongside elite athletes who use the facility.   

Gateshead College's Baltic Campus is located on the Gateshead quayside, just minutes from Newcastle City Centre and its attractions. The College is situated behind the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and The Sage Gateshead.
