Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Game Design
About
The Game Design programme provides a multi-disciplinary approach to game development, equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise essential for success in the industry. In addition to applying fundamental principles in conceptualizing game design projects, students gain hands-on experience in managing projects through all key stages—from initial idea development to final production. To deepen their understanding of the field, the programme includes a historical component, tracing the evolution of game design from its origins to its current status as a rapidly expanding global industry. Additionally, a Digital Entrepreneurship module introduces fundamental business strategies, empowering students to market their own game designs in the future.
Learning in a collaborative, team-based environment further enhances interpersonal skills, fosters positive group dynamics, and develops effective communication abilities. These essential competencies prepare graduates to meet industry demands with strong work ethics, professional adaptability, and the ability to thrive in creative and technical team settings.
