Bachelor of Bus. Admin (Hons) in Human Resource Management

The Bachelor in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) (Hons) programme is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in managing human resources within a business organization.

This programme equips students with fundamental business knowledge, including finance, accounting, economics, and management, while focusing on key aspects of human resource management such as recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and labor laws.

Graduates will develop the critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills required to manage people effectively and align human capital strategies with business goals. The curriculum is structured to meet industry demands, ensuring that students are well-prepared to take on HR roles in various sectors or pursue further studies in an MBA programme.

This Bachelor in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) (Hons) programme can be completed in three years.

STPM Qualification

• Pass STPM with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects
• Mathematics (SPM): Pass (E)
• Bahasa Inggeris (SPM): Pass (E)

Matriculation Qualification

• Pass Matriculation with at least CGPA 2.00
• Mathematics (SPM): Pass (E)
• Bahasa Inggeris (SPM): Pass (E)

Foundation Qualification

• Pass Foundation with at least CGPA 2.00
• Mathematics (SPM): Pass (E)
• Bahasa Inggeris (SPM): Pass (E)

A-Level Qualification

• Pass A-Level with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects
• Mathematics (SPM): Pass (E)
• Bahasa Inggeris (SPM): Pass (E)

Diploma Qualification

• Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) OR Pass Advance Diploma (Level 5, MQF) with at least CGPA 2.00
• Mathematics (SPM): Pass (E)
• Bahasa Inggeris (SPM): Pass (E)

STAM Qualification

• Pass STAM with at least Grade JAYYID
• Mathematics (SPM): Pass (E)
• Bahasa Inggeris (SPM): Pass (E)

Note: Candidates without a credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level may be required to take a supplementary course.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Qualification

• Pass HND in a related field with at least CGPA 2.00

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) Qualification

• Pass UEC with at least Grade B in 5 subjects, including:
  • Mathematics: Pass (E)
  • Bahasa Inggeris: Pass (E)

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) Qualification

• Pass IB Diploma Programme with at least 24 points in 6 subjects

DKM/DVM/DLKM Qualification

• Pass DKM/DVM/DLKM with at least CGPA 2.50
• AND Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM)

Other Equivalent Qualifications

• South Australian Matriculation (SAM), Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT), South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), Overseas Preparatory Programme
• Pass with at least Grade C or 60% ATAR Rank in any of the following subjects:
  • Mathematics: Grade C
  • Economy OR Accounting: Grade C

ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

For Malaysian Students:

Students have taken MUET before enrol. However, students are required to complete MUET during the duration of the study (before graduation). IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet-Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

  Achieve Band 1 and above

For International Students:

International students are required to have one of the English proficiency scores stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.

• MUET – Malaysia University English Test
  Achieve Band 3.5 and above
   
• IELTS – International English Language Testing System
  Achieve 5.5 and above
   
• TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
  Achieve 500 (TOEFL) or 46 (TOEFL Internet Based Test) and above

This programme can be completed in Full Time: 3 years.
