Foundation In Arts (Built Environment)
About
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is transforming our buildings and urban spaces, bringing new levels of scale, complexity, and environmental challenges. Professionals in the built environment must be ready to tackle these emerging challenges and seize the opportunities they present. UCSI's one-year Foundation in Arts (Built Environment) program is designed to give you a strong start. With an integrated and synergized approach, the program offers a cross-disciplinary introduction to built environment subjects, preparing you for a seamless transition into your chosen specialisation—whether architecture, interior architecture, or quantity surveying—at the degree level.
Using innovative teaching methods both inside and outside the classroom, UCSI’s distinguished academics, visiting professors, and industry experts will guide you in developing the necessary subject knowledge, along with creative, critical thinking, and study skills. The program also offers early exposure to real-world experiences, allowing you to work on community or industrial projects alongside seniors and industry leaders in a collaborative, creative environment.
