Specific Requirement for Certain International Students
International students from certain countries that want to take some Sunway University degree programmes (for example programmes in partnership with Lancaster University) will need to take and pass our online six-month International Preparatory Programme (IPP). This is a requirement to enrol on a Sunway degree programme that also leads to a degree certificate awarded by Sunway’s partner institution. Students are required to pass all the subjects with grade C or above to progress to the degree.

- Why is a Portfolio Necessary?
- A portfolio provides some indication of your ability in design and allows us to assess your creative potential.
- A portfolio should contain 5 - 15 examples of your own original creative work. Its purpose is to demonstrate how you express your concepts through media. Any form of media is acceptable. Photographs, drawings and 3-D work will be accepted as digital photographs. For media work, links to streaming sites such as Vimeo, YouTube or SoundCloud are acceptable. Otherwise, Video files must be an H.264 QuickTime file. Games or other applications must be playable on both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.

- O-Level English (1119) Credit
- Sunway Intensive English Programme (IEP) Pass Level 4 with minimum 65%
- ESL / English Satisfactory level in Pre-University programmes, where the medium of instruction is English
