About
This two-year diploma program in Information and Communication Technology equips students with a comprehensive foundation in technical skills, including systems analysis and design, programming, web design and development, database design, operating systems, and data communications and networking. Alongside these technical skills, students develop essential soft skills like communication, presentation, and teamwork, and learn about professional ethics. This program provides hands-on experience and prepares them for both further degree studies in the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) or the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) at Multimedia University (MMU), and successful careers in the technology sector.

Entry Requirements
- Pass SPM/O-Level with a minimum Grade C in three subjects (including Mathematics and a Pass in English)
- Pass UEC with a minimum Grade B in three subjects (including Mathematics and a Pass in English)
- Pass STPM with Grade C (GP 2.00) in one subject AND Credit in Mathematics at SPM level
- Pass STAM with Grade Maqbul AND Credit in Mathematics at SPM level
- Possess SKM Level 3 in a related field (with assessment if no Mathematics)
- Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with CGPA ≥ 2.00
- Other relevant qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
AND
- Possess an APEL.A certificate from MQA for admission.
Note:
- Mathematics Requirement (with Mathematics in Qualification):
- If your entry qualification includes Mathematics equivalent to SPM level, and you have a pass in SPM-level Mathematics (or equivalent), you meet the Mathematics requirement.
- Mathematics Requirement (without Mathematics in Qualification):
- If you have a pass in SPM-level Mathematics (or equivalent) but your entry qualification lacks a Mathematics subject, you must take and pass a reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to SPM level.
- This reinforcement Mathematics subject must be offered in the first semester or before unconditional enrollment.
- Preferential Consideration:
- Candidates with a credit in a Computing-related subject(s) at SPM level (or equivalent) may be given preferential consideration.
