About Multimedia University - (MMU) Cyberjaya
Founded in 1994 by Telekom Malaysia, Multimedia University (MMU) is Malaysia's first private university and a premier research institution located in Cyberjaya and Melaka. Initially established as the Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology, it was renamed Universiti Telekom in 1996 before becoming Multimedia University in 1999. Multimedia University (MMU) Scholarships
MMU President’s Scholarship (Local students): Full tuition fee waiver for outstanding academic performance in foundation or bachelor’s degree (e.g., 9 As in SPM, or 4 As in STPM).
MMU Merit Scholarship (Local and international students): Up to 50% tuition fee waiver for bachelor’s degree students with excellent results. For international students, a GPA of 3.75+ provides a 50% waiver, and a GPA of 3.50-3.74 offers a 25% waiver.
MMU Talent Scholarship (Local students): 50% to 100% waiver for students excelling in sports, music, or other talents, who represent MMU or Malaysia in competitions.
MMU International Student Rebates (International students): 10% tuition fee waiver for self-funded international students who do not qualify for the MMU Merit Scholarship.
MMU Achievers Research Scholarship (Local and international students): Available for master’s and PhD students with excellent academic records pursuing research-based programmes.
MMU Alumni Scholarship (Local students): 10% to 20% discount for MMU alumni pursuing postgraduate studies at MMU. Available for both master’s and PhD programmes.
