Entry Requirements
- passed SPM or equivalent with at least FIVE (5) Credits including Bahasa Malaysia, TWO (2) from Mathematics and Science (Biology, Chemistry, General Science, or Applied Science) and TWO (2) from other subjects. You also need to have at least a Pass in SPM English (a Credit will gain you preference), and, for registration with MAB, also a Pass in SPM Bahasa Malaysia.
- Candidates presenting GCE O-levels need to have at least FIVE (5) Credits including TWO (2) from Mathematics and Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or General Science) and THREE (3) from other subjects, and a Pass in English Language.
- Be medically certified as fit by a registered medical practitioner recognized by MSU, and free from any mental illnesses, physical or sensory disabilities, infectious diseases (HIV or AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, etc.), genetic diseases, epilepsy, and drug abuse.

Where the qualification may lead you to
There is high demand for medical assistants onboard offshore rigs, at remote plantations, the ambulance service, the Fire and Rescue Department, the Civil Defence Department, the Army, and NGOs. With some years of clinical experience, you could also assume the role of Clinical Instructor.
