Advanced students who want to increase their pharmacy knowledge and proficiency in order to pursue more challenging roles in community pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, veterinary pharmacy, military pharmacy, speciality pharmacy, or pharmacy informatics can enrol in the Master of Pharmacy postgraduate program. Candidates for master's degrees in pharmacy usually go on to have prosperous careers in toxicology, pharmacology, science writing, and health and regulation in healthcare facilities. Entry Requirements
Any one of these:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 from universities recognised by the Senate of MAHSA University.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a CGPA of 2.50 from universities recognised by the Senate of MAHSA University may be accepted based on detailed evaluation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant pharmacy area with a CGPA lower than 2.50 or its equivalent from universities recognised by the Senate of MAHSA University may be accepted with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant pharmacy area with a First Class from any university recognised by the Senate of MAHSA University.
- Bachelor's degree candidates with a minimum CGPA of 3.57 who have registered as students may apply to convert to a PhD research program, provided they demonstrate competency and ability to conduct research equivalent to a PhD research program and receive approval from the University Senate.
- Other equivalent qualifications approved by the Senate of MAHSA University.
