Diploma in Information technology

Students who complete the Diploma in Information Technology program gain the fundamentals of entry-level computing with a curriculum that is based on industry standards and centred on current information technology theories, concepts, and practices.  MAHSA's dynamic campus and state-of-the-art facilities expose students to the newest hardware and software. To further refine their skills, the final year involves industrial training at IT specialist businesses. In order to gain the requisite in-depth knowledge and proficiency in some really fascinating fields of Web programming, mobile computing, or even artificial intelligence, students can select their preferred specialisation.

Alongside a global faculty with a variety of cultural backgrounds, students also get to experience comprehensive learning and personal growth. Graduates of this program will, in fact, have the cutting-edge skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as information technology professionals.

Any one of these:

• SPM: Pass SPM or equivalent with three credits in any subjects including Mathematics*

• STPM - Pass STPM with Grade C (CGPA: 2.00) in any two subjects and Credit in Maths at SPM level*

• STAM: Pass STAM (maqbul) and Credit in Maths at SPM level*

• O-LEVEL: Pass O Level or equivalent with Grade C in any three subjects including Mathematics*

• UEC: For Senior middle three (SM3) only; Pass UEC with a Grade B in any three subjects including Mathematics*

• Certificate: A certificate Level 3 in a related field with a CGPA of 2.00*

*Candidates who did not pass/credit Mathematics subject in the SPM level can be accepted in the SPM level can be accepted if the Certificate program contain a Mathematics subject which is equivalent to Mathematics subject in the SPM

• APEL: Age 20 years & above and Experience in related field

• SKM: Pass SKM Level 3 in a related field. Candidate without Maths can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment to determine their competencies in Maths that are equivalent to SPM level

• Others: Other equivalent qualifications approved by the government of Malaysia

Notes:

• Candidates with credit in computing related in computing related subject at SPM level may be given preferential consideration.
• Candidate can be admitted if their admission qualification contains Maths equivalent to Maths SPM level and those without passing Maths at SPM level can be admitted but are required to take and pass reinforcement Maths subjects. The Reinforcement subject must be offered in the first semester or before enrollment with unconditional offer.
