Bachelor of Environmental Health & Safety (Hons) ODL

About

The four-year Bachelor of Environmental Health and Safety (Hons) ODL undergraduate program prepares students for careers in environmental health and safety. The program at MAHSA University employs a cutting-edge approach to teaching and learning through online and distance learning (ODL) delivery techniques.

Locally and internationally, there is a growing and ongoing need for EHS-related expertise. EHS graduates are in high demand across a range of manufacturing and industrial sectors, including government-affiliated organisations. MAHSA has taken the bold step to envisage the global and national vision of the current and future industrial revolution by moulding competent graduates with all-rounded qualities coupled with the necessary talent and skills to lead the ever-evolving environmental health and safety landscape.

The ODL teaching methods include lecture and tutorial sessions on the e-learning platform. Before lectures or tutorials, self-instructional materials will be posted to the internet forum. This online platform will be used to host lectures and discussions utilising integrative teaching methodologies. Lecturers will encourage learning by utilising case scenarios. Face-to-face instruction will be used to conduct practical sessions where practical skills can be shown.
