About
The Diploma in Hotel Management is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the hotel industry. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with hands-on practical classes and professional internships, providing students with a well-rounded education.
Throughout the program, students receive training in various aspects of hotel operations, including rooms division, reception services, food and beverage service management, and food production. They also develop a professional attitude and gain valuable industry experience through internships.
Upon completion of the diploma, students have the option to further their studies by pursuing a bachelor's degree or to enter the workforce directly, equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in the hotel industry.

Entry Requirements
- Passed the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) / Vocational Education Certificate (SPMV) with at least three credits in three subjects; or
- Passed Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a B grade in 3 subjects; or
- Passing O-Level with at least Grade C in 3 subjects; or
- Passed the Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent with minimum grade C (NGMP 2.0) in any subject; or
- Passed STAM (rank Maqbool); or
- Graduated Community College Certificate MQF equivalent to level 3 in a related field; and
a. Passed SPM with at least a credit in one subject; and
b. Through consolidation program (if necessary); or - Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in a relevant field; and
a. Passed SPM with at least a credit in one subject; and
b. Through consolidation program (if necessary); or - Graduate Certificate in a related field (MQF Level 3) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; or
- Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
English Requirements :
International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 4.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPS must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
