Applicants require one (1) of the following:
- Recognised Matriculation / Foundation / Equivalent – Minimum CGPA 2.00 OR
- TWO (2) STPM passes – Grade C (CGPA 2.00) OR
- TWO (2) A-Level Principal Passes – or equivalent AND a credit in the following at SPM / O-Level or equivalent:
- Additional Mathematics OR
- Mathematics AND one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject
- Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in Mathematics at STPM / A-Level or equivalent AND a credit in one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM / O-Level or equivalent
- TWO (2) STPM (Science stream) passes or equivalent – Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in Mathematics AND Science/ICT
- FIVE (5) UEC Bs – Including Additional Mathematics OR
- A credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM / O-Level or equivalent OR
- Grade B in Mathematics at UEC AND a credit in one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM / O-Level or equivalent
- Grade B in Mathematics at UEC AND one Science/ICT, Technology, or Engineering subject at UEC
- FIVE (5) CPU passes – Minimum average of 50% AND a credit in:
- Additional Mathematics OR
- Mathematics AND one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM / O-Level or equivalent
- FIVE (5) SAM / TEE passes – University aggregate of 50% AND a credit in:
- Additional Mathematics OR
- Mathematics AND one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM / O-Level or equivalent
- Diploma in Computer Science / Information Systems / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent – Minimum CGPA 2.50
- Any other Diploma in Science and Technology – Minimum CGPA 2.50
Notes:
- Candidates for Diploma in Computer Science, IT, and Science and Technology (CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00) may be admitted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- Candidates for certain categories may need to take Mathematics reinforcement subjects relevant to Computer Science.
- Students must pass Mathematics reinforcement subjects before taking core courses that require them.
- Mathematics reinforcement subject credits are additional to core subjects but can be considered for undergraduate credit.
- Mathematics reinforcement may be waived if equivalent or higher Mathematics subjects were taken in Matriculation or Foundation.
