About
The School of Economics, Economics, the first economics school ever founded and one of the major comprehensive universities in mainland China, offers the Finance program at Xiamen University (XMU). Among the top five in mainland China, XMU's economics program has consistently placed highly. As per the 2013 Tilburg University Worldwide Economics Schools Research Ranking, XMU was ranked 16th in Asia and among the top four in China in terms of the quantity of articles published in prestigious international publications. They have a strong faculty that includes 22 professors, 15 associate professors, nine assistant professors, one senior researcher, and 15 associate professors. Many of these individuals have received academic honours, including two first prizes at the national level.
The alumni of their program at Xiamen University University Malaysia are prepared with solid theoretical and practical knowledge and abilities in banking and finance. Equipped with a strong sense of professionalism and a conviction in ethical standards of practice, graduates are able to use their skills to create wealth for both individuals and institutions. This allows them to operate effectively and efficiently in the financial markets.

Intakes
Entry Requirements
Any of These:
- STPM: A pass in STPM with at least a Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any 2 subjects.
- A-Level: A pass in A-Level with at least a Grade C in any 2 subjects.
- UEC: A pass in UEC with at least a Grade B in 5 subjects.
- Foundation/Matriculation: A pass in Foundation/Matriculation with at least a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0.
- Diploma (in a relevant field): A pass in Diploma with at least CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0.
AND
- Mathematics: A credit in SPM or a Grade B6 in UEC or the equivalent.
- English: A pass in SPM or a Grade C7 in UEC or the equivalent.
