The Bachelor of Information Technology (Graphics & Multimedia) (Hons) programme is designed to produce highly skilled and competitive graduates in the field of computer graphics and multimedia technology systems. This programme emphasizes three key aspects: IT knowledge, technical expertise, and strong social skills. It provides technical training while encouraging students to explore multimedia applications and the industries built around this evolving technology.
Students will develop proficiency in working with computer programs, enabling them to code and create computer graphic systems widely used across sectors such as education, research, and entertainment. Graduates can pursue careers in animation studios, game development companies, web design firms, and software companies. The programme ensures students gain real-world experience by engaging with the latest technologies in computer graphics and multimedia system development.
Key areas covered in the programme include computer game development, virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D modeling, and animation. In addition, students are equipped with strong programming skills, ensuring they are flexible enough to work in both IT and graphics/multimedia industries. The curriculum provides a solid understanding of hardware, software, and the technical aspects of capturing, storing, and manipulating multimedia elements in digital form.
The programme consists of 120 credit hours, spread across nine semesters, and can be completed in three years.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS
For Malaysian Students:
Malaysian students may enrol without MUET. However, students are required to complete MUET during duration of study (before graduation). IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

For International Students:
International students are required to have one of the English proficiency score stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfill this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.
