Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interior Architecture

Fully accredited by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM), this course offers insights into various interior design practices, including exhibition, furniture, set, and lighting design. Through the unique 'Experiencing Culture' course, students engage with design and architecture firsthand. Live community projects provide practical experience, encouraging students to design solutions that meet client needs while reflecting cultural and societal aspirations.

Any one of these:

• Foundation in Arts/Science/Equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.0

• STPM (Arts/Science stream): Minimum CGPA 2.0 in 2 subjects

• A-Level: Minimum Grade ‘D’ in 2 subjects

• UEC (Commerce/Science stream): Minimum 5 Credits (Grade B)

• SAM/AUSMAT/WACE/SACE: Minimum ATAR score of 60 OR Minimum overall average of 60% in 5 subjects

• CPU: Minimum average of 65% in 6 subjects

• International Baccalaureate: Minimum 26/42 points from 6 subjects

• Local Matriculation: Minimum CGPA 2.0

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree/Equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.0

Subject to school discretion and credit transfer after reviewing transcript, syllabus description, and portfolio. Maximum 30% credit transfer.

• Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by MQA: Students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

General Requirement

• All applicants must pass Art Education, Engineering Drawing, or a related subject at SPM/O-Level or equivalent OR

• Pass Portfolio Review in replacement of the art subject if applicable.

For Local Students

• MUET: Band 3.5

• SPM English Language: Grade B+

• SPM English Language 1119/O-Level/IGCSE: Grade C

• UEC English Language: Grade A2

If the English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take the Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the programme.
