Entry Requirements

Any one of these:

  • Foundation in Arts/Science/Equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.0

  • STPM (Arts/Science stream): Minimum CGPA 2.0 in 2 subjects

  • A-Level: Minimum Grade ‘D’ in 2 subjects

  • UEC (Commerce/Science stream): Minimum 5 Credits (Grade B)

  • SAM/AUSMAT/WACE/SACE: Minimum ATAR score of 60 OR Minimum overall average of 60% in 5 subjects

  • CPU: Minimum average of 65% in 6 subjects

  • International Baccalaureate: Minimum 26/42 points from 6 subjects

  • Local Matriculation: Minimum CGPA 2.0

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree/Equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.0

Subject to school discretion and credit transfer after reviewing transcript, syllabus description, and portfolio. Maximum 30% credit transfer.

  • Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by MQA: Students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

General Requirement

  • All applicants must pass Art Education, Engineering Drawing, or a related subject at SPM/O-Level or equivalent OR

  • Pass Portfolio Review in replacement of the art subject if applicable.

English Language Requirements

For Local Students

  • MUET: Band 3.5

  • SPM English Language: Grade B+

  • SPM English Language 1119/O-Level/IGCSE: Grade C

  • UEC English Language: Grade A2

If the English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take the Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the programme.
