Entry Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or an IB diploma
- One of the following English language requirements:
- TOEFL with a minimum score of 80 for the Internet-based test, or minimum score of 550 for the paper-based test, or minimum score of 213 for the computer-based test.
- IELTS with an overall Band Score of 6 or above
- Grade 4 or above in English for applicants with IB qualifications
- Grade C in GCSE/IGCSE/GCEOL English
- Additional documents depending on the programme (reference letter, portfolio or CV)
Curriculum
Students are required to take 124 academic credits plus 11 training credits.
The first year introduces concepts of engineering, other general studies and language subjects to students. The second year focuses on the fundamentals of engineering in general, and introduces students to accounting and economics. In the third year of study, essential knowledge of transportation systems, such as system analysis, planning, and technical subjects from various engineering disciplines, is covered. During their final year, students take 4 Core Subjects in transportation systems and two Elective Subjects on advanced or specialised topics of transportation. The Individual Project in the final year is directly relevant to transportation systems engineering.
