About
Social work is a multidisciplinary field that applies social theory and research methods to address societal issues and improve the well-being of individuals, groups, and communities. It draws from various social sciences to address persistent challenges and advocate for positive social change. The Master of Social Work program at Lincoln University College aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in international policy studies. The curriculum is designed to accommodate students from diverse academic backgrounds, allowing them to enhance their expertise and explore new opportunities in the field. To ensure academic rigor and scholarly contribution, candidates are required to publish a minimum of two research articles in Scopus-indexed journals with Lincoln affiliation for successful completion of the program.

Entry Requirements
- Bachelor (Level 6 Qualification Framework (MOF)) with honors in a relevant field or equivalent of University College Lincoln or other universities with a CGPA of at least 2.50; or
- Bachelor (Level 6 KKM) or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years work experience in social work or other related fields; or
- For international students:
Lecture score of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 500, international English Language Test System (IELTS) 5.0 or other equivalent qualification for international students. If students do not meet these criteria, HEPs must offer English courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the program requirements.
