Entry Requirements
- You must be employed or participating in voluntary work within the Early Years sector for a minimum of 12 hours a week and have support of your employer (unless you are self-employed, for example childminders)
- You must obtain a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) check
- You should have 2 GCSEs at level C which may include English Language (or written task for students without evidence of GCSE qualifications can be undertaken)
- You should have achieved an NVQ3 / CCLD in Early Years Care and Education or an equivalent level three qualification, for example DCE/NNEB
- You must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in spoken and written Standard English
