Cafaro House
Located on the north end of campus, Cafaro House is home for 274 YSU students in the following programs: University Honors Program, Leslie Cochran University Scholars program, and the BS/MD program.
- Residents: First Year and Returning Students; male and female
- Rooms: Suites house between 4-18 students in individual double rooms (two per bedroom). There are a few triple rooms available on the traditional wing. Each suite has a common room, bathroom and shower area. Handicapped accessible rooms are available.
- Furniture Provided: Each resident will receive an extra-long twin bed & mattress, desk, chair, drawer, & an individual wardrobe.
- Room Amenities: Air conditioning, Internet connection (wireless and wired), cable
- Building Amenities: Laundry facilities, lounges on each floor, kitchenette, fitness room, academic seminar room, music rooms, recreation rooms (TV, pool, air hockey, & Ping-Pong), vending machines, & convenient nearby parking
Kilcawley House
Located in the heart of campus and connected to Kilcawley Center, Kilcawley House is the center of their YSU community for 224 YSU students.
- Residents: First Year and Returning Students; male and female (separated by floor)
- Rooms: Most rooms are doubles (two students per room); a few are triples. Each wing has a common bathroom and shower area. Handicapped accessible rooms are available.
- Furniture Provided: Each resident will receive an extra-long twin bed & mattress, desk, chair, drawer, & an individual wardrobe.
- Room Amenities: Air conditioning, Internet connection (wireless and wired), cable
- Building Amenities: Laundry facilities,lounges on each floor, kitchenette, study lounges, sound-proof music rooms, recreation rooms (TV, pool, Ping-Pong), vending machines.
Lyden House
Lyden House offers a unique living environment designed for 300 residents. Lyden House is located on the north side of campus and is close to Cafaro House & the Chirstman Dining Commons.
- Residents: First-year and returning students, male and female (separated by wing)
- Rooms: Most rooms are doubles (two students per room); a few are triples. Each wing has a common bathroom and shower area. Handicapped accessible rooms are available

- Room Amenities: Air conditioning, internet connection (wireless and wired), cable
- Building Amenities: Free Laundry facilities, kitchenette, computer lab, study lounges, recreation room (TV, Pool. Ping-Pong), convenient nearby resident parking, vending machines.
Wick House
A renovated Victorian mansion, Wick House, provides of variety of housing options to a close community of 36 upper-class YSU students.
- Residents: Returning Students; male and female (separated by room).
- Rooms: A variety of housing options, ranging from single rooms to triple rooms.
- Furniture Provided: Each resident will receive an extra-long twin bed & mattress, desk, chair, drawer, & an individual wardrobe.
- Room Amenities: Air conditioning, Internet connection (wireless and wired), cable
- Building Amenities: Laundry facilities, 24 hour front desk, first floor study and conversation lounge, kitchenette, and convenient nearby parking.
Weller House
An upper-class apartment building, Weller House, provides of variety of housing options to a close community of 20 YSU students.
- Residents: Returning Students (Junior, Senior, & Graduate Students); male and female (separated by apartment).

- Apartment: A variety of housing options, ranging from studio apartments to single or double bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a kitchen with electric range, full-sized refrigerator, kitchen table and chairs, and a full private bathroom.
- Furniture Provided: Each resident will receive an extra-long twin bed & mattress, desk, chair, drawer, & an individual wardrobe in the bedroom.
