About Wright State University

Named after the world-famous Wright brothers, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, continues their spirit of innovation. The university serves 18,000 students, offering 96 undergraduate and more than 120 doctoral, graduate, and professional degrees. The branch campus, Wright State University–Lake Campus serves more than 1,100 students and has a national reputation in excellence in serving students with disabilities, and is the first campus in the country to have a dog park dedicated to service animals.

The University Libraries include the Paul Laurence Dunbar Library, the Lake Campus Learning Center, the Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC), and Special Collections and Archives.
The Wright State University Nutter Center is a 12,000-seat, state-of-the-art facility. Home to Wright State athletics, it is also a popular venue for national touring concerts and performances. The contemporary Berry Room holds 250 people for weddings, receptions, conferences, and seminars.
Campus Recreation has two outdoor grass playing fields for softball, two for soccer, and one for rugby. These fields can also be converted into four multipurpose fields for other outdoor activities. In addition, Mulholland Field is a turf field that can be used for soccer, football, lacrosse and other field sports.

The branch campus, Wright State University–Lake Campus, is located on the shores of Grand Lake St. Marys between Celina and St. Marys, Ohio and it takes pride in the beautiful 557-acre campus, including lush forests and a biology preserve. The state-of-the-art facilities include 25 academic and academic support buildings, 26 student residential buildings, and our world-class entertainment and athletics venue, the Wright State University Nutter Center.
