About University of Missouri, St. Louis

The university of Missouri- St. Louis (UMSL)is a public research university. It was established in 1963. UMSL is one of four universities in the University of Missouri System has offered Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral programs.

UMSL is also home of optometry school providing its students with a doctorate and owns and operates St. Louis Public Radio.  

According to the enrollement statistic of 2012, UMSL is the largest university by enrollement in the St.Louis area with 16,719 students. 

Campus information

UMSL The Campus is divided into two parts, a North Campus and a South Campus. UMSL can be visited using the St. Louis MetroLink light rail system which has two stations on the campus: UMSL North and UMSL South.

The facilities and services include:

Located on the former grounds of the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis County.
