Evansville is the third-largest city in the state of Indiana and the largest city in southern Indiana.
The city of Evansville and the Tri-State area offer numerous activities you can explore when you visit the University of Evansville. With a variety of locally-owned restaurants, museums, and amusement parks, you'll enjoy exploring all that Evansville has to offer.
The University of Evansville guarantees residence hall rooms for all freshmen and sophomores. Students entering as Freshmen must reside on campus for a minimum of two academic years or the equivalent of four full term semesters. Freshmen and sophomores who meet one of the following criteria may request an exemption:
The exemption form must be filed with Residence Life.
The housing process for new UE students begins the minute you send in your admission deposit. Your $100 housing deposit is included in your $300 admissions deposit.
Then, in late February, any student who has paid that deposit will receive a message within the UE Students Application Portal from the Office of Residence Life. This message will include information on how to access UE's online application materials for housing and meal plans.
