About Stevens-Henager College

The College’s purpose was to teach commercial subjects and place graduates in business positions. The College was known over the following 68 years as Smithsonian Business College, Moench University of Business, and West Haven (Ogden) Business College. In 1959 the name was changed to Stevens-Henager College. The main campus is in West Haven (Ogden), and branches were established in Orem (Provo), Utah, in June 1978; Murray (Salt Lake City), Utah, in August 1999; Logan, Utah, in October 2001; and in Boise, Idaho, in April 2004.

Our five-acre campus features a contemporary learning environment with a distinguished staff uniquely qualified to help you earn your degree. Our Program Directors who are over medical and allied healthcare programs, surgical technology and nursing each have over 20 years’ experience in their respective fields. Vicky Dewsnup, our Campus Director, has been honored by Utah Business Magazine as one of “30 Women to Watch.”

West Haven is located approximately 35 miles (56 km) north of Salt Lake City, west of the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah. The confluence of the Weber and Ogden Rivers is located inside the northeastern portion of the city. The city is bordered on the east by Ogden, on the south by Roy, on the west by Hooper, and on the north by Marriott-Slaterville. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
