Georgetown’s nine schools offer a wide variety of intellectually rigorous programs designed to prepare students for many disparate careers and guide them toward their intellectual and professional goals. Our schools offer undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as law and medical degrees, medical residencies, post-doctoral positions and a growing number of specialized certificates and continuing education programs.
Located in the nation’s capital, Georgetown is an exciting place to be. Cheer on the Hoya sports teams. Check out dance, plays, concerts and great speakers on campus, and participate in our many student clubs and organizations. Off campus, visit museums, theaters, concert halls and famous monuments and landmarks. Students also do community service in the city and hold internships at numerous nearby cultural and civic institutions.
We pride ourselves on encouraging the personal, intellectual and spiritual growth of students while they live both on-campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods. All full-time, unmarried, undergraduate students are eligible to live on campus as space is available. Students are guaranteed three years of housing and may request housing for their senior year.
Students seeking off-campus housing can find great places in the surrounding neighborhoods. We offer information, assistance, and programs to make living off-campus exciting and as easy as possible.
Student living is about more than just where you will live. We strive to help students create homes away from homes and become part of their community here on campus and in the area they live.
