Central Washington University has seven university campus locations in addition to the residential campus in Ellensburg. The campuses offer upper division (300-400 level) courses in selected degree areas and are designed for students who have completed their Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) associate degrees or the CWU General Education Requirements.

CWU-Pierce County

CWU-Moses Lake

CWU-Wenatchee

Central Washington University is located in the heart of Washington State in the historic town of Ellensburg and close to just about everything. To the north are the jagged Stuart Mountains and skiing at Mission Ridge. To the south lies the Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway, which hosts cattle drives, marathons, and some of the best fishing in the United States.
East of Ellensburg is the mighty Columbia River, carved out by sheets of ice and massive floods during the Ice Age. Ninety minutes west of Ellensburg lies Seattle, one of America's great cities, home to world-class cuisine, arts, and entertainment of all sorts.
Residence Hall
Living on campus at Central affords you many opportunities and has proven to be instrumental in the academic success of Central students. As an on-campus resident, you will have ample opportunity to grow and develop outside the classroom as you live with people who understand the educational process and can discuss classes, professors, homework, and exams with you. Living on campus enhances your overall education and is perhaps one of the best ways to develop friendships with peers that will be cherished for a lifetime. Great opportunities await as you embark on your college career. At Central, we have 17 residence halls offering a variety of attractive and complete housing and dining packages. The residence halls house 35 to 476 occupants. Furniture, expanded basic FM-TV cable service plus one premium channel, basic telephone service, utilities, and coin-operated laundry facilities are also provided. New and renovated residence halls have card swipe for entrance and laundry facilities.
In addition, many halls have their own pool table, piano, or ping-pong table. For mobility impaired students, all residence halls have limited access to the first-floor common areas. All residence halls are also smoke free.
Apartment
University Housing currently maintains studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, for students with children, married couples (must provide a marriage certificate), and single students. All students are an important component of the overall CWU residential services program. Apartment rates include: water, heat, electricity, sewer and refuse services, and extended (+70 channels), TV-FM cable basic service (cable hookups may be purchased at the CWU Bookstore). The University provides, high-speed internet for all complexes, except for Brooklane and Wahle, which has DSL/Wifi.
