Campus information

Campus Life strives to provide a variety of programs intended to help students succeed academically. Further, it promotes social experiences that help students grow as individuals.

All students are encouraged to participate in activities. The main focus is to create an environment that enhances the quality of the total education experience. This spirit and camaraderie built through campus life not only ensures fun and exciting things to do on campus, but it also promotes lifelong relationships.

Athletic events and activities, campus organizations, fine arts events, worship and small-group services and entertainers are among the many activities offered. Come be part of our active community and build Eagle Pride!

Central Methodist University is located in the heart of Fayette, a community of approximately 2,800 people located 25 miles northwest of Columbia in the center of Missouri. Fayette is the county seat of Howard County and is rich in history, with many of the older homes and buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Accommodation

Each of the five campus residence halls offers a unique living environment.

Each Hall is staffed with a Residence Hall Director (RHD) and a team of upper-class student Resident Assistants (RA’s) to ensure that the residence halls provide a safe and comfortable living environment.

All students receiving institutional financial aid are required to live on campus unless, before the first day of classes, they are: married, the custodial parent of a minor child living with them, over 21 years of age, in their fifth year of college, or, living with a parent in the parent's primary residence within 35 miles of Fayette.
