About Sheffield International College

Sheffield International College (SIC) is a joint educational partnership between the The University of Sheffield and Kaplan International Colleges, to provides international students an access to a premium education abroad.

Sheffield International College is part of Kaplan International Colleges who specialise in university preparation courses for students wanting to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate academic courses in various universities around the UK.

Sheffield International College prepares international students for an academic degree course at The University of Sheffield. Pathway courses are provided that help bridge the gap between the international qualifications of foreign students, and the qualifications that The University of Sheffield requires.

Sheffield International College (SIC) offers international students the opportunity of studying in UK university pathways course at a top 20 UK university. Upon successful completion of the university pathways course to the required level, students are guaranteed progression to the internationally recognised University of Sheffield.

Campus information

Students who studying at Sheffield International College are allwo to use all the facilities available at The University of Sheffield including the library, computer labs, sporting and leisure facilities.

There are a number of libraries within the University complex, the main one being situated next to the Arts Tower at Western Bank. Details of much of the facilities the library can offer, including the on-line search engines is available on the library web pages.

Corporate Information and Computing Services (CICS) provide networked computers for undergraduate use, including PCs, SUNs and Apple Macintoshes distributed about the campus with associated printing and plotting services.

Sheffield International College is based on the North Campus of The University of Sheffield. It is close to many university facilities and is just a short walk away from the city centre, where you will find a huge array of activities to take part in - from shopping centres to parks, museums and restaurants.
