About All Nations Christian College

All Nations is an independent, evangelical, interdenominational mission training Bible College.

The purpose of All Nations is to train students in cross-cultural mission. Today, All Nations is one of the largest Colleges of its type in Europe and welcomes students and their families from all over the world.

Our international teaching staff have a wide range of mission experience and cross-cultural expertise. Many of our students have also already been on overseas mission, further adding to the fusion of ideas and teaching that takes place at All Nations.

All Nations is located in beautiful wooded surroundings in Hertfordshire, just north of London. There is accommodation for around 100 students on campus (more live locally) and there are dining, nursery, pre-school, computing and sports facilities available to students and their families on site. Other facilities such as shops, banks, leisure centres, swimming pools and cinemas are just a short car journey away.

Community - All Nations is a diverse, supportive and vibrant community. Over one hundred students from more than twenty nations live and study together here, so your cross-cultural training starts on day one! You can learn from one another’s insights and experiences, and build friendships that last a lifetime.

Serving - Teamwork and service are of high value at All Nations. We serve one another in practical ways helping out with gardening, IT support, cleaning, or through volunteering to be on the student committee. We recognise everyone has a part to play. Every student is part of a team who help with the day to day maintenance of the college on a regular basis. Chores happen every day for those living in, and everyone is on the maintenance rota once a fortnight.

Worship – Each day begins with worship either all together or in smaller tutor groups. United in Christ, our worship reflects our diversity: drawing from many different cultures and traditions, we can enjoy multicultural worship. Prayer is the heartbeat of the college. We encourage deep personal prayer and intercessory prayer for the world. We also break from routine to focus completely on God for a ‘quiet day’ every term.

Fun - All Nations is a fun environment to be in with time to relax and laugh with staff and students. There are regular coffee parties and social events such as international night, music night, big screen films, campfires, table tennis tournaments, organised visits to surrounding attractions and more!

It is only just over 20 miles from the City of London and about the same distance from the busy airports of Stansted and Luton - a great advantage to its students as half of them come from outside of the UK.

Accommodation

SINGLES

Single students are placed into the Oak House accommodation which backs onto lush woodland and is in close proximity to the academic block and dining room. Most students will be allocated their own room however if there is large demand for single accommodation there are some twin rooms to share. Each corridor is wholly make or female and contains a small kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities.

There is the opportunity to form good friendships within the corridors and Oak House also provides a communal lounge where students can gather to socialise and rest.
