Classrooms here at Nanyang Intitute of Management are fully equipped with audio and visual aids including projectors and white boards. Internet connectivity is available in each classroom.
To support the school’s curriculum, there are also specialist training room for Food and Beverage, Front Office, Accommodation Operations. There is a Computer Laboratory installed with industry applications to provide training for students in real life applications. In addition, the school has a library with a reading hall.
Wireless Internet and a computer room is provided for the students at no charge. Black and white and colour printing is available to the student.
Nanyang Institute Of Management is a city campus located in the heart of the Central Business district with a train station directly underneath the mall housing the school. There are many amenities, retail and food and beverage outlets around the school.
Singapore is a very cosmopolitan city with many amenities and place of interest. There are also many housing options available to the student. The public transport system is very extensive and includes public buses, trains and taxis. Medical facilities are very modern and readily available. The country is also one of the safest place to stay in Asia.
Hostels (Nanyang Institute Of Management will assist where applicable)
These are privately-run accommodation for students. You may opt to have a single room or share the room with someone. Basic facilities include common bathrooms, a bed and study table. Some may have facilities for common dining areas, laundry services and even sports and recreation facilities.
HDB Apartments (Students to arrange themselves)
These are public housing apartments with 2 – 4 bedrooms in each flat. The room usually comes with basic furnishings like bed, writing desk, chair, and electric fan and usually includes the use of electricity, water and gas. Additional costs may be incurred if you require other facilities and arrangements.

These are public housing apartments with 2 – 4 bedrooms in each flat. Accommodation rental rates in Singapore are dependent on several factors such as the location, furnishings and facilities provided, and the type of occupancy you require.

If your application is admissible, you will receive an official “Letter of Offer” issued by NIM via air mail/fax/email.
Please send your Application Fees of SGD428 (non-refundable and non-transferable) to NIM.

Step 3: Documentary Preparation
The processing time for Student Pass application is about 4 weeks upon receipt of the application by ICA.
Student is required to prepare and courier to Nanyang Institute of Management the following documents for student pass application:

Step 4: Processing of Student Pass and Fee Collection
Applicants will be notified if NIM receives the applicant In Principle Approval Letter from ICA.
NIM will inform applicants to sign the Standard PEI-Student Contract and to make arrangements to pay the 1st instalment of the course fees upon successful application of student pass.
Upon receiving the signed Standard PEI-Student Contract, NIM will process the student’s Entry Visa. The Entry Visa will be send to the student by NIM or their Agent electronically.
Please remit your fees to the following bank account when Student Pass is approved.
All fees except Application fees are to be paid to the NIM ESCROW Account
Step 5: Departure and Enrollment
Once students received the copy of the Entry Visa/ In-Principal Approval Letter, they can make their travel arrangement. They should arrive in Singapore 2 weeks before the class commencement date and students will be required to inform the institute upon confirmation of their arrival date in Singapore.
Student must inform the institute at least 3 working days before their arrival in Singapore if they require airport transfer and/or accommodation arrangement services.
Upon arrival in school, NIM staff will arrange for the student to complete the formalities for enrolment and thereafter collection of student pass from ICA. Students must produce all the original documentary copies (including Standard PEI-Student Contract) to ICA when collecting the Student Pass.
