How is the academic life at this university/college? The academic life at TARUC is very meaningful. Our lecturers are diligent and dedicated to teach, explain and cover all the syllabus in details. Sometime, they will also tell us some joke, life lesson as well as extra knowledge in class to avoid boredom. Therefore, we gain a lot of knowledge and enjoy our academic life here. What are the students like? Students in TARUC, or we call ourselves TARUCians, are nice, friendly and passionate. I remember that on my first week in this college, I often lost while finding my lecture hall. So, I just randomly approached to someone and asked for help, and always got a hand then. Some of them even offered to lead me there instead of just showing direction. Although now I have familiar with the map and require no help anymore, but I am still impressed on their enthusiasm. What do students do when not studying? Tell us about the social and sports life. There are many ways where TARUCians spend their time when they have no class or during break. Some would choose to have lunch at cafeteria, some would like to gossip and chat at mini park, some would go to library to read books or do revision, some would spend time with computer facility in CIT center, some would also like to work out in sport complex. What is your overall opinion about this university/college? Overall, TARUC is a good center for continuing tertiary education. There are a variety of courses offered, lecturers and tutors are nice and experienced, the facilities here are in good condition, nevertheless, the students here are friendly. Therefore, I love this college very much!
