About Redeemer University College

Redeemer University College is an undergraduate Christian liberal arts and science university committed to academic excellence and to enabling students to discover their unique gifts and callings in life.

Situated in Ancaster, Ontario, our campus provides a beautiful environment in which to study and learn. For 30 years, we have been enjoying theatre events, concerts, art exhibitions, sporting events, and lecture series as well as conferring degrees and diplomas. At Redeemer, there is always something happening to challenge the mind and the senses, and to bring glory to God.

Campus information

Redeemer's main facilities were constructed in 1985 and consist of one comprehensive academic building, 43 townhouse style residences, 20 apartment-style units, a three-story residence hall and a student recreation centre. The campus includes athletic and recreational facilities for student and off-campus groups. In 2011, in partnership with Ancaster Soccer Club, Redeemer opened a new domed soccer facility.

Redeemer is located on a beautiful 86-acre campus in Ancaster, part of the City of Hamilton, ON.

Accommodation

If you are traveling to the Hamilton area, Redeemer’s campus is your home away from home. Comfortable and affordable accommodations are available in two or three bedroom apartments and townhouse style residences. These residences are ideal stops for the individual traveler or family guests who may be on an extended holiday. All accommodations are air conditioned and include coffee makers, refrigerators, complimentary local calls, parking and of course all of our outdoor space to enjoy.

Townhouse Residences:

Available May through August
Accommodates up to eight guests in each townhouse
Four bedrooms with two single beds in each room
Includes two bathrooms, a kitchen, and spacious dining/living room

Augustine Hall:

Available May through August
Accommodates four to six people in two and three bedroom apartments, up to 84 guests
Two bedroom apartments contain a bunk in each room, while three bedroom apartments contain two single beds in each room
Includes a full bathroom, kitchen, and dining/living room in each apartment

President's Guest House:

Available year round
Ideal for campus guests, visiting parents, small retreats or guest speakers
Five bedrooms available, accommodating up to 15 guests
Includes living room with Satellite TV, DVD/VCR, kitchen, dining room, laundry facilities, and private patio
Five bedrooms collectively containing two queen beds, one double bed, four bunk beds and three single beds as well as two 4-piece baths, one 3-piece bath and a powder room
