Southern Cross Education Institute (SCEI) currently has one main campus located in Melbourne. The institution is located conveniently at the city of Melbourne, making it easy for students to visit places around in Melbourne during their free time.
This campus has about 15 large class rooms and is located centrally within the suburb. Hence, making it easy for students to have access to public transport to get around. The classrooms here are fully equipped with white boards, chairs, tables and projectors which will be used by the trainers there. Students will also be supplied with various training materials for their convenience. There are four computer labs which are specifically designed to accommodate to independent study and research.
Public buses, trams and trains operate almost everywhere around in Melbourne. The two main city train stations are Flinders Street Station located on the corner of Swanston and Flinders Street. The second station is Southern Cross and is located on the corner of Collins Street and Spencer Street.
Southern Cross Station is also the station where you would catch what is called a VLine train for country areas outside of the suburban network. Southern Cross Station is also the main bus depot for country, interstate and airport bus services.
Taxis can also be found everywhere for students' convenience to get around in Melbourne.
There are plenty of accommodation choices in Melbourne. Students will have the opportunity to choose rooms based on their own comfort (single or shared rooms). Besides, many houses and units are also available throughout the suburban areas.
