Established in 1989, Kent Institute Australia (Kent) aspires to create a brighter future for all of our students and prepare them for their chosen career path in Business or Information Technology. The mission of Kent Institute of Business and Technology is to provide students from all backgrounds with access to high quality, higher education and vocational education courses accredited in Australia and to stimulate and encourage critical thinking on issues relevant to the student’s professional environment in a framework that fosters free, intellectual enquiry. The primary goals of Kent Institute of Business and Technology are to:

advance knowledge and understanding by striving to improve the quality of Institute courses for students and the industries it serves;
establish and maintain links with industry and professional associations, aimed at ensuring Institute courses reflect current and anticipated industry needs;
foster and acknowledge excellence in teaching and service provision among all staff, including staff of local and offshore partners;
adopt best practices in education, training and business from around the globe;
stimulate and encourage critical thinking on issues relevant to the student’s professional environment in a framework that fosters free, intellectual enquiry;
create an environment which encourages staff and students to undertake researach;

Sydney campus

Kent’s Sydney campus offers students a place to enhance their development and skills with state-of-the-art facilities. Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the campus is only minutes away from several major public transport connections. The modern, contemporary campus offers Kent students an environment for interactive learning and provides them with an iconic destination for studying and socialising.

By car: There are plenty of public car parks located around the Sydney CBD and typically there is a daily or hourly rate payable.

Melbourne campus

In March 2017, Kent Institute Australia moved to a new contemporary, custom-built campus, which is independently run and operated by Kent. The exciting new campus is located at Levels 9 and 10, 350 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

The specially designed campus features furnished student breakout areas, contemporary colour schemes and premium IT facilities. Some other features of the campus include:

Four new computer labs and five lecture theatres/tutorial rooms
An Academic Learning Centre and Library with private study areas
Two private group project rooms with projection functionality
Large student breakout room
Indoor bike racks

Accommodation

Kent Institute of Business and Technology does not provide On-campus accommodations for students. The students will have to independently search rent houses/ rooms with the help from the institution or real estate agencies in that area.
