Undergraduates study a broad STEM curriculum for the first two years before declaring their major at the end of their second year. SUSTech gives you the freedom to choose, to change and to grow.

You have 2 mentors

Asia’s best faculty-student ratio of 1:10 allows each undergraduate to be supported by two mentors both of whom are professors from the faculty. The job of mentors is to pass on their experience and knowledge to you, to be there for you whenever you have questions for your study or daily life and to guide you as you pursue academic research, employment or further study.

You can enjoy subsidized study abroad and exchange opportunities

SUSTech endeavours to provide all students with an international experience during their undergraduate education. To facilitate this, generous study abroad and exchange funding is available to help ease the financial burden of tuition, accommodation and travel. Options range from two weeks at the University of Oxford during the summer to a semester at Berkeley in the US.
