When talking about studying abroad, most students in Malaysia would usually think of countries like the US, UK, Canada or the Netherlands. We’re impressed when someone we know gets to pursue their studies abroad in a European country.
Of course, western countries have good universities and their qualifications are widely recognised internationally. But now it’s time to divert the traditional perception of seeing universities in Western countries as the only option to gain tertiary education abroad.
Although studying there may sound fun, you have to consider aspects such as culture, cost of living, tuition fees and even administrative affairs that are going on right now such as Brexit in the UK, immigration and visa changes in the US.
It’s time to consider universities in our Asian neighbouring countries when thinking about study abroad options. Universities in Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and other Asian countries also deliver top-notch education, ranging from its academic staff, syllabus to the curriculum offered, students will be given the best educational approach.
By studying in Asia, not only you get to feel the sense of closer to home, but you also get to experience the richness of culture and redefine the meaning of your ‘comfort home’. In terms of cost, the price can be slightly higher or even lower, depending on the currencies.
