Better Results for STPM 2016

An improvement in the results is seen in 2016 STPM results as compared to previous year.
According to Malaysian Examination Council (MPM) chairman Prof Datuk Seri Dr Mohamed Mustafa Ishak, 565 candidates have scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00. Meanwhile, 16,263 candidates have scored a minimum CGPA of 3.00

"With the increase in the percentage and number of candidates scoring CGPA of 3.50 and above, and 2.75 and above, I expect there will be a bigger chance for STPM 2016 leavers to be accepted into public universities," he said during the announcement of STPM results.
A total of 43,235 candidates sat for the STPM exams in 2016
